Fellow Members;

I know it has been a long time since you have heard from me and for that I apologize. Things have been a little nuts for me. However there has been a lot happening.

I have had a couple meetings with Harry Hill. He has worked very hard to get our bills ready for submission and finding sponsors for them. I am attaching his first report of this Legislative session.

I have also hired a new person to do the work on the web page. Her name is LeAnn Hagee from Chapter 7. She is very excited and has already started making changes and updates to the web page. If you have any suggestions let her know, she welcomes any and all ideas.

I hope all the local presidents have discussed the proposed by-laws changes with their membership so we can vote on them at the meeting this month.

The meeting is on January 14^th, 2006, at the Ramada Inn, 9:00am. I am hoping to have a good turn out.
